Does Alabama have a lottery?

No. Alabama has no state lottery, so Powerball, Mega Millions and scratch-offs are not sold there. Players from Alabama usually buy tickets in a neighboring state:

• Florida
• Georgia
• Mississippi
• Tennessee

Prizes are claimed in the state where the ticket was bought, under that state's rules.
